Kittens sold by the MWHPC are known as Sta-Sta's and indicated as such on the pedigree should you choose to purchase one from the CFA during registration.  Our kittens will be vaccinated and de-wormed prior to placement.  They come with a 2 week health guarantee against distemper, panleukopenia, Chlamydia, calici and rhinotracheitis.  For this health guarantee to be valid, the kitten MUST be seen by a veterinarian, preferably the one on the signed contract, within 48 hours of sale.

We guarantee for 2 years against congenital birth defects.  If your Sta-Sta has kidney, liver or heart failure and dies, we will either refund your full purchase price or provide a replacement at your choice.  A veterinarians report detailing the cause of the fatality and that its cause is genetic and not inflicted is required for reimbursement or replacement.  The MWHPC will not be liable for general health issues and is the owners responsibility to maintain good health.

Your kitten will not leave our home if not 100% healthy with a good temperament.  We have our kittens checked out regularly by our vet while getting vaccinations and worming in addition to being seen within 24 hours of birth.  Upper respiratory infections are normal and can occur due to the stress of a long trip to their forever home.  If your baby contracts this infection, your vet can help.  This usually subsides within the  2 weeks with an oral antibiotic. This is not a reason to return the kitten.  All of our breeding stock is thoroughly tested for FIV FeLIV, and PKD and are guaranteed negative.  Please visit our veterinarian tab for contact information should you want to verify this with our vet.

Your feline should provide you with 10-15 years of companionship but don't be surprised if they last a lot longer,  I personally have two that are 17 and 18.  Diet and care make a big difference in longevity, and we recommend having urine testing done as part of your regular routine to screen for crystals, a common issue with the Himalayan that can cause a blockage.

The MWHPC will not reimburse for any testing or other veterinarians expenses incurred for treatment or diagnosis.

The MWHPC will not issue a refund because of allergies or other medical issues.  Unless you own your own home, your landlord will be consulted for approval, however disagreements that arise after placement is not grounds for returning the kitten.

The MWHPC has been in business since 2008 and has never had any issues related to health with any placed kittens.  We are a reputable cattery and you should feel free with expressing any concerns you may have when picking up your baby so that you feel 100% comfortable when leaving with them.
